Macy's in the Smithaven Mall. They were very helpful. Make sure to make an appointment if you are going to go.

I looked at Renate's in Lindenhurst where everyone was so helpful & Lillette's, but I think I'll end up buying from Gownfind. Definitely the best prices around. & from what past brides say, great service too.

Re: Suffolk Girls - where did you get your dress?
A couple of my friends got their dresses from Angel Bridal in East Islip (near CVS) and they raved about service and price.Adriennes is where I got my prom dress and they messed it all up. They made me order a huge size saying they would fix it with alterations and ended up changing the fit and cut of the dress.
A co-worker of mine had an even worse experience (basically the same situation) but it was her wedding dress!
I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and we got our dresses from Adriennes and when they told me that I needed to order a bigger size and extra length on the dress I told them NO! They made me sign a waiver but in the end I WAS RIGHT! My BM dress fit almost perfect... just had to have it taken in just a little and straps adjusted... now what if I ordered a larger size??

I got my dress at Wedding Salon of Manhasset and I had a wonderful experience there so far. I got my bridesmaid dresses at Angel Bridal in Islip and that too is a wonderful place to work with.
