My dress shop told me to start working on my tan lines this summer (I picked out a strapless in May!) but did I? Nooooo!!!

Other than wearing a strapless bathing suit and tops and go topless (when we are alone on the boat), I have a trick that usually works for me. I apply sunblock everywhere but in the existing tan lines to help them 'catch up'. I do it before I even suit up (you should put sunblock on 1/2 hour before exposure anywho) at home with a mirror. I've done it before and it works! Just try not to color outside the lines!!!

Can you wear some type of tube top and lots of sunscreen while at the lake, then go tanning? You can also try the spray tan, in the booth, you won't get any lines from that.

I tried the spray on tanning and it made my hands ad feet orange. I'll never do it again! feel ver yself conscious (sp?) in a strapless shirt or bathing suit. Im not sure that'll work. I'll give it a try though

TANNING SALON IS THE WAY TO GO TO STAY EVEN, BEST WAY AND PRIVATE AND NO LINES (ONLY WHER EYOU WANT THEM)

My sister got married in October, and she thought she'd be able to even out her tan lines from the summer by going to the tanning salon...needless to say she was FREAKING out a week before the wedding b/c it wasn't working. She ended up being able to blend the tan lines pretty well using Jergens natural glow for the two weeks before the wedding, and she had he make-up woman use bronzer to even things out.

That said, I am DEFINITELY going with the strapless bikini. I'd say that if your dress is really low cut in the back you should try and avoid getting too tan at the beach and stick mostly to the tanning salon where you can be tan line free.

exactly, be careful...wear your straps down when you lay out or wear tube tops the entire summer.
your makeup artist should be able to cover everything up anyway

I didn't think to wear anything different this summer and it's November and I still have tan lines

I go to the tanning salon 2 times a week- and they are finally fading- but I can still see them

so annoying!

i too have permanent tan lines, and understand your feelings about being active all summer and needing a good bathing suit...however, my lines seem to not show up in pics, a good bronzer may offset your tan lines and then you don't have to worry about streaky spray on tan disasters!

Us girls have to worry about sooo many things to look beautiful Along with what you girls have said, I was also thinking of tying the airbrush tan..they say it works miracles!! I have to be very careful, b/c usually by August I am very tan and loaded with lines Good luck girlies!
