We're getting married at a Vineyard, so I thought I might do names of different wines....
chardonnay, merlot, zinfandel...etc.

but my initial thought was numbers. I don't need more to think about!

Table Names of places that we've been to together. And on the back of the table name we're putting a story - explaining the significance of the place.

I'm almost positive that we're doing either 'Our Firsts'...first date, first movie, etc... or Words that represent qualities in a marriage...ex: Love, Trust, Honesty... etc..

We did names of Long Island Lighthouses since we ended up with a Lighthouse theme

we are using different casino names because fh and i love to gamble..although this close to the wedding i wish we didn't have such a pasttime

we are doing each table a different bird- weird, i know, but we have a nature theme and fh and my dad LOVE birdwatching

This is a completely new idea that I recently learned of, doing names instead of numbers. I think we're gonna use restaurants that FI and I like to go. We like to eat out a lot and I figured this would be cute since our guests will be eating dinner at these tables.

Same here! And now I'm thinking its just easier that way for everyone to find their tables.

We have friends that are obsessed w/ The Simpsons so each table was named after a different Simpson character & had a pic of that character.

I think this is a good idea. I really want to do names, but I was at a wedding where all of the tables were named and it was very crowded and there was a lot of confusion with people trying to find their correct table. Maybe if I do names I will make sure there are people with charts of which table is where to direct my guests.
