Tall Centerpiece $150 and under

Hi girls,

If you are having (or had) tall centerpieces for $150 or under, would you please post the pics of them here?
It seems like all the florists' pricing is so arbitrary...I just don't know what $150 for each CP can get me these days...

Thanks!

Re: Tall Centerpiece $150 and under

Mine are around 40 inches tall, dendrobium orchids. $65 each, I purchased my own vase. Would have been $75-$80 using their vase. Larger photos in my album.

Don't have a pic but here is the description of mine. They are $125 each.

A tall clear glass cylinder vase to display a lush, natural-style arrangement at the top…flowers to include antique green/pink Hydrangea, champagne, blush-to-medium pink, and burgundy Roses, and an accent of blush Dendrobium Orchids. The inside of the glass will feature submerged Hydrangea at the base with a single Orchid spray. Cylinder vases on loan; the top arrangement is easily removed for your guests to take home.

Wow! All orchids for that price? Seriously? That's awesome! Thank you so much for sharing- what a beautiful CP. I am in LOVE with orchids! However, the places I've seen are quoting me astronomical prices and I didn't even dare ask for all orchids.

Yours are stunning as well! Can you please FM me the approximate price for those? I love the soft feel of this centerpiece.

Dendrobium orchids are VERY economical and come in a few colors....some people lop orchids all together but of the popular orchids- phalenopis are $$$, cymbidium $$ and dendrobium $. If you like the look, there's a few ways to do this- you can incorporate curly willows and wrap some of the orchids around, throw in some bear grass (mine will also have bear grass- sample didn't). Have you visited Designs by Rose or Verbena Designs yet? Both very, VERY creative and think outside the box. Glad you like it

Re: Tall Centerpiece $150 and under

My friend is paying $60 for her tall centerpiece. I haven't gone to visit the florist yet to see how much mine would cost. The florist is in Brooklyn, not sure if you want to come all the way to brooklyn to check her out. it's Julie's Flowers.
Sorry I don't have a picture.
