Definately check out Temple Beth Torah in Melville. A friend of mine had her wedding there and it easily accommodated over 300 people. Not to mention the place was BEAUTIFUL!

I am not too familiar, but there is a Temple Judea on the north shore (rosyln or manhassett) that I went to a bat mitzvah and they did a really beautiful job.

thanks for all the posts! I was wondering how everyone was getting around the 9:15pm starts? I looked at beth torah tonight and two others - I loved beth torah - a little pricey though. i'll keep everyone posted.....steph - stacy got married at jericho jewish center i think and had her bat mitzvah at some temple in new hyde park - my mom looked there today.
