this will be our 3rd year in a row hosting turkey day, i will be cooking for 11. thanksgiving we spend with my family, and xmas we spend with his - it all works out. having the holiday at your house is fun, but ALOT of work, thankfully DH does all the cleaning up!

I'm helping my mom cook. My Nan is coming over and my Aunt, Uncle and cousins for desert. DH's friend is also coming to celebrate w/ us. He just broke up w/ his FW and his family all lives OOS.

Should be fun. We usually just have my immediate family, but the more the merrier.

DH has to work until 4:30 on thanksgiving and then the day after

This will be the first year I haven't headed home and spent it with my family... but this will be the 1st thanksgiving I spend with my husband and it's our 1st one married.

Our family live in other states and 2 1/2 hours away by plane) So looks like I'm cooking (shall be interesting- but it will be better then letting him cook at least my sides will be homemade and not completely store bought- he does try but anyways)

ANd our 2 other couples that are down here with out their familes - this year their familes are coming down and spending it with them.
