My mom got married there like 28 years ago....good that they have been in business that long!!!

My parents got married there thirty years ago!

My cousin's friend had her wedding there... she really like it a lot. I have heard great thigns about that place too!

I am a former Thatched Cottage bride (nearly 1 year ago this month

) and I can honestly say that my wedding day was PERFECT and that nearly 1 year later, people still tell me that the food, ambiance, service was exceptional

As for 'smell' well I can remember that I would hear about this infamous 'smell' constantly when other people would post questions about the TC.. but honestly I NEVER EVER smelled a thing in all the times I visited for planning, tastings, etc. We were married at the end of July , prime time for heat and humidity and there were NO ISSUES with smell at all. my cocktail hour was outside and my guests enjoyed themselves thoroughly

I wrote a detailed review under 'The Bride's Review' about my experiece at TC but as some of the other past brides have said (Lorsin, Cocoa) you will have NOTHING to worry about - they do a phenominal job
