Re: The Official Spring 2005 Bride's
April wedding. I am fine but ever now and then I get butterflies. I have the 'details' left, gifts, hair/Makeup appts and rehersal dinner. My invites are going out Jan. 28th. It seems like alot more but I confirmed all my vendors and they reassured that lists and stuff I can't do until 1mth prior. So EXCITED!!!

Re: The Official Spring 2005 Bride's Thread
I had a wedding meltdown this week. I have been having nightmares for MONTHS that its the day of the wedding and I forgot something- limos, my dress, a pastor, etc. lol I'm May 21 (we're date twins bluesashbride!)So far I have done:
-BM dresses (and they came in WAY early!! How cool is that??)
-JBM dress (also in- I am LOVING Bridal Reflections in Massapequa right now- my dresses are 2 months early!!)
-FG dress
-My dress
-My veil
-Photographer
-Videographer
-DJ
-Tuxes (but NONE of the guys have gone for measurements yet, except my FH)
-Shoes (they are ordered anyways)
-Booked honeymoon resort
I think we are changing our ceremony from a church to the hall. I want to do it outside since we can't get married in the church I want right now anyways.
I still have to do:
-Finalize ceremony location (kind of important, lol)
-Limos (any suggestions on anyone to use??)
-String Quartet
-Flowers (appt. this week)
-Favors
-Invites
-BP gifts
-Book airfare
I KNOW I am forgetting stuff....what am I forgetting girls???

I don't think it's too early. You can never really be too early IMO. I'm actually sending mine out on Monday, for 2 reasons. I know there is another wedding in Roslyn and there might be out of town guests staying at my hotel, so I want to make sure the rooms don't get taken (it's a small hotel). And I'm having seating cards printed that take 3-4 weeks, so I pushed up my rsvp date 2 weeks.

Re: The Official Spring 2005 Bride's Thread
I am working on getting the final guest list together and putting together and addressing all my invites. I thought my list was final but between my mother and his mother it seems to be expanding daily. I ordered my ring and am looking for a ring for my FH. April brides, since I have three months left, is there anything else I should be doing at the 3 month mark? Do I have to start meeting with the vendors now, or is that next month?

Re: The Official Spring 2005 Bride's Thread
I've gotten invites 3 months before a wedding. It did seem a bit early but it was a close friend so I didn't mind. I'm sending mine out at the end of the month, that should give people two months to reply which I think should be fine. We haven't done the tuxes yet. I didn't think it took that long.

Re: The Official Spring 2005 Bride's Thread
So I addressed the inner envelopes, numbered the response cards, printed my direction cards, and stuffed the envelopes. Al I need to do is get one address, then print the outer envelopes, stamp and mail.

Re: The Official Spring 2005 Bride's Thread
I have my final meeting with Milleridge on Saturday. This weekend we booked the RD (TY Luncheon, really), booked our plane tickets so we can actually go on the honeymoon, got my slippers together for the basket, and got the cardstock for the menus (set Sat) and donation cards. All in all, pretty productive.

you don't have to send them out until the end of March and they only take about two weeks to come in so you have plenty of time. Do you know which ones you want? I got Koza invitations and I really like them.

Re: The Official Spring 2005 Bride's Thread
I'm not sure exactly which ones I want- I think FH and I are going to pick them out this weekend- I have a ton of catalogues I got in the mail. Is it better to order them from a cat. or go to a store?I am soooooo sick now- its cutting in to my planning time! lol I took today off because I just needed some sleep and rest, but I am doing wedding stuff at home, lol

smart, I too am having my seating chart printed on a monogramed board and didnt know it takes 3-4 weeks to print and my rsvp is 4 weeks prior to the wedding date so I am sending mine out this week. and for the straglers welp I guess I will be making phone calls b/c I have to give the printer time to make the seating chart. by the way hi jaimee!

Re: The Official Spring 2005 Bride's Thread
oh my gosh, I hear ya. I have been feeling so sick to my stomach the last week and now I am realizing, its not still from having the flu 2 weeks ago! lol Its because I am STRESSED TO THE MAX. Its wedding, its still not having a job in my field, its that the construction on our house will not be done in time and we can't live there when we first get married, so now we are apartment hunting.........and then I go to a baby shower today and my FMIL's friend's daughter is getting married too, a few months later than I and she is telling me how behind I am on planning bc she has more than me done. I was so sick to my stomach, lol. UGH
