I hear ya ....mine too - im very happy about it but all sad- its bitter sweet ....just differnt not getting up in the house that i grew up in

I'm definately going to be crying this Christmas am...

FSIL who lives in Chicago has already asked us to come out there next year for the holidays

they are moving into their new townhouse and want to have their first Christmas their with their families...its not like I can even be home Christmas Eve with my family and then go FH's Christmas Day

...we'll be in CHICAGO...not looking forward to this...she can have Thanksgiving...I want Christmas with my family...

i know exactly how you feel!! Everytime i think about it i get very sad. It's not really the fact that I won't be living here, but the fact that next christmas Iwilll be 3500 miles away from my family in England. I try not to think about it.

I am so upset....I am so happy to be getting married but at the same time I am going to be very upset that this is my last Christmas at home I love the way my mom arranges the gifts under the tree and stuff..I will really miss it

Oh geez, i hear ya!!!!
I cannot stop thinking. on one hand, I am soooo excited to start my own traditions w/ my FH, and it is so great to know that next X-mas we can go to sleep together and wake together on Xmas AM...BUT>>>>i am finding hard to accept that this is going to be the last time i wake up on christmas morning in my house that i have lived in forever and the last time i will open up presents w/ just my mom, dad and sister on X-mas morning!!!! it's sooo bittersweet, but everyone tells me it is so normal to have these feelings. My family has had the same tradition on Christmas mornng since i was little, so it's hard for me, but i am looking foward to next year and sharing this time w/ my FH!!!!
