hey there is this guy in north babylon, close to where i live (he lives off of Deer Park Ave) and he decorates for xmas right after halloween because he does this huge ordeal. He has every inch of his house and lawn decorated and filled with tacky lights and tacky lawn ornaments and he has a donation box in teh front since people come all the time and walk around looking at it (I think it's for St. Jude or something) but Lipa pay's his electric bill because he does this every christmas...how awesome!! So the more icicle lights and big blow up lawn ornaments the merrier!!!!!!

Was that house on a show on HGTV called 'what's with that crazy decorated house' or something?? I think I remember watching it and hearing that one of them was on LI! I want to go see it! DH and I like to drive around sometimes and see lights. Catie can you FM me the address if you have it, or the block??

I think that might be the house yeah! But I actually don't have the address now. When I drive home from class tonight I will check the name of the block. It's right near the Southern State exit on Deer Park Ave. You definitely can see it, but I will definitely FM you the address later. I am sorry I dont know it right now.

Wow I live in East Northport which is a 'nice area' and people have them...I don't agree JMHO

If you take Exit 39 North on the Southern State, the first Left you can make down a residential street, is his house. You really can't miss it. lol

I live right over the southern state near the high school and I see that house all the time. I actually forgot about it this year and I was driving down DPA and I said 'I wonder if the lights are up'. Low and behold...I almost went blind when I peeked down the block haha

I like the icicle lights, but I hate anything that blinks...

ETA: I also really like when people put those white light reindeer out...my neighbor is actually doing it right now...he reminded me.
