I read your update, but to answer your question - I would keep Macy's. I am also enrolled in the Star Rewards program and love it. I have my china at both Macy's (the place settings, serving bowls) and Fortunoffs (some special pieces Waterford makes that Macy's doesn't carry - the accent plate & dessert bowls).

I would switch to Fortunoff, when I went there to register they were so nice and I am sure they will go through your macys registry with you so you can switch it over to fortunoff
