I like the candles on the bottom and not on the top. $70 is a lot of money if you times that by ...lets say 14 tables? I think it would look better without the candles on the top anyway. Let us know what you choose to do.

Re: Opinions needed on centerpieces! How would these look without candles?
the more i think about it, the more i want to know what YOUR CPs looked like.I don't usually like 'tall' CPs but I can honestly say that the ones you have added remind me of Easter/spring. NOT of fall/November like your wedding. I also think those large pillars are too much...and if you notice, they've been burning and are caving in...they don't look very attractive like that. If you crave some candles [and go for taller CPs] I would just use simple votives around the bottom. They might provide them for a nominal fee or you can purchase them at AC Moore/Michaels for very little...they sell them IN holders already. Also, see if MAYBE your hall can provide htem....mine was willing to at no cost but i didn't need them to. They offered.
Good luck!

I think the flowers are very pretty by themselves the candles are rather large and take away from the beauty if the flowers! Tea lights around the bottom would be simple and a beautiful touch!

I think it would be beautiful without the candles, because the flowers would be more prominent. I like someone's idea of maybe providing your own small candles for the bottom on the table among the rose petals. You can even get those small candles (bigger than tealights) in the $ store! Then you;d just get the glass holders, which you could probably get in a case at a craft store. It would def. be less than $35 extra on top of the high flowers.

oh, no... the $35 was in addition to my original LOW centerpieces... not just because of candles at the bottom. But I still might be able to save a little money if I buy my own candles, so I'll check it out! Thank you!

Re: Opinions needed on centerpieces! How would these look without candles?
Thank you, ladies!By the way... to clarify... the price increase was to go from LOW centerpiece to HIGH centerpieces. Not JUST to add candles.

Okay... so I think I'm gonna go with no candles amongst the flowers at the top, just at the base with rose petals. I'll STILL love it AND save a little money. AND I'm gonna try to go a little more with my BM colors, pictured below. I can't wait to see my room now!! And John is going to make me another sample in two weeks! He's such a sweetheart!!!

Re: Opinions needed on centerpieces! How would these look without candles?
dont feel bad about changing the CPS - my mom and I did the same EXACT thing!!As for the candles - do they have a base that has votives around it? that could probably lower teh price drastically and you can still include a little light.
For $70 a CP more I would say leave them out - to me its kind of alot of money for candles

I actually was at Flower Michele last weekend and was also loved that CP when I saw it there. I think that it would look just as good without the candles.Welcome New Vendors
