For all those that sent FM

I spoke to my friend just now and her mom and dad are still alive. However, they are still stuck in the hospital with dead bodies piled up in the hallways and they will probably move the bodies outside.

They have run out of medicine and there has been no talk of evacuating them as of yet They had been getting water and food from the National Guard but we are not sure if that is still the case.

Thank God her mom gets regular shots which may prevent her from succumbing to disease and infection. I am not sure about her father's medical condition.

Her sister in Atlanta has about 30 people at her house and her sister's grandma-in-law (in her 70's) fell down last night and was bleeding from her head. They rushed her to the hospital and learned that she had a heart attack. She was also bleeding in her brain. She has surgery last night and came out of it okay but two of her daughters are in a shelter in Baton Rouge. They are trying to get to Atlanta now.

My friend's law firm sent a check for $2,500 to her sister and a letter offering to send sleeping bags and supplies which I think is a generous gesture.

Her grandma is still missing but they did learn that her grandpa was evacuated (from his nursing home). They are not sure where he is but they do know he was evacuated.

Please keep her family and everyone else in the devastated areas in your prayers.

Her parents are okay and they are in NY as of a few minutes ago. They just picked them up from the airport

Her grandma is still missing and they have no idea where her grandpa was sent when his nursing home was evacuated --- but her parents are okay.

Please continue to pray. There are so many more people who do not have the means to leave the affected areas.

ive been following your story and it is very upsetting. im glad that her parents are okay and the grandpa was relocated. my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your friends family and her grandmother.

Thank goodness yours friends parents were able to get out of there and are safe. I hope they are able to find out the whereabouts of her grandmother and grandfather.

Her grandpa has been found alive They are not sure exactly where he is but his nursing home was in fact evacuated.

GRANDMA has also been located. She was in Texas. They have no idea how she got there but she is fine and on her way to CA to stay with family.

Continued prayers for all those affected by the hurricane.
