Venue suggestions?

I'm brand new to this site and wedding planning as a whole so I would love some suggestions from those of you who have done a lot of venue visits.

I am looking at off peak times, to be cost efficient but we are open to any season really. Preferably April/May or September/October (2016 or 2017). My biggest concern is that we will be having a smaller wedding (100-125 people) and I want a venue that will be on the smaller side so that people don't feel lost in a big space. That and good food and we will be set!

Looking in Suffolk county now but open to Nassau. Any information on pricing and quotes would also be appreciated! Thank you all :)

Check out the lessigns venues - they are usually priced pretty well and there are alot of them in Suffolk.

Also, just to let you know - Sept/Oct are conisdered peak season now. They are actually two of the most popular months to be married now a days so pricing is usually high for them

Venue suggestions?

It's true.. our venue was $5pp more in September/Oct than July/Aug! I'll send you FM with my quotes (keep in mind they're a year old so most likely have gone up $5-10pp). I don't have minimums on there though, so the easiest way is to e-mail venues you're interested in and find out what their minimum is for the night you want.

Venue suggestions?

I'm getting married at Larkfield which is a bit pricey so I'm doing a Thursday. I saw a lot of places and loved that one most. Caryle on the Park was really nice too and I'm pretty sure it's cheaper in summer because it's an inside venue.

Check out the cottage at East Wind! I'm getting married in Aug 2016 at the Estate in East Wind - the cottage was unfortunately too small for us but it was beautiful!
