Visiting a venue and leaving with a very bad impression

If you have an appointment set up with a future bride wouldn't you have the room for cocktail hour at least partially set up or at least not have tables and chairs on their sides?

And it is in VERY POOR TASTE to bash or talk bad about any other venue especially when you know the bride has been to visit them.
