I am sorry to hear that. These little details are important to us even if its minor to everybody else. My wedding was white with silver and I didn't even want one touch of gold at the wedding. My DH wore a gold bracelet the day of the wedding and was going to have a heart attack because it probably will come out in the picture...thank God it didn't as his wedding ring is platinum.

The dress you chose is gorgeous and I don't know what i would do. Maybe you can find a dress similar to that or demand for your money back.

Debbie,

I ordered my gown (it just came in and I have to make an appt to see it) and I will tell you one thing - if it's not EXACTLY what I asked for - it will not be pleasant.

This is your wedding dress - how DARE they give you a rude ultimatum. Don't accept this - it's wrong. Especially when you made the committment to gold accents for the rest of your theme.

I understand - I'm all about the details as well. Plus, you pay a HUGE penny to buy your dress from there so you expect good customer service.

I'm sorry to hear about this - good luck and try to get out of the agreement. It's not what you agreed to so they shouldn't give you a problem - but they will try. Believe me.

That is just horrible!!! You should definately ask for your money back and see if you can call the designer directly to see if they can modify the dress somehow. Good Luck!!!

Ok, Is there No way that a really good seamstress or dress maker can help to take out as much of the silver as possible and thread in the gold?
Maybe see if anyone can do this before you pick another dress

What the heck is going on these days

You should've been notified IMMEDIATELY before that dress was ever shipped!!! There is no justification for a mistake like that !! What if your wedding was in 2 months instead of 7

You should get EVERY single penny back b/c you did not receive the merchandise stated on your contract

Debbie, I am so sorry to hear about your dress. That is totally unacceptable. I cant imagine the disappointment. Where will you be looking for a new dress? I know there are plenty out there with gold design, but it is so unfair that you have to look for another one! Keep us posted on how your search is going.

Here is the update. I have had a few discussions with Bridal Reflections today and will be getting a full refund. I went to a Bridal Gown store near me and looked around, I tried on a whole bunch and none of them gave me the feel that I got with my dress. After some thought, and putting my dress on again I just could not pick another one so I ordered the dress (down here in Florida) in ivory. I never wanted an ivory dress but I want the dress I picked so I ordered the ivory dress with the gold embroidery. I am more than ok with my decision and because I love the style of my dress I have no doubts that I will not regret it!
