I would stay also. Our reception is on a Sunday from 6-12.

My wedding is on a Sunday from 7 - 1am!

In the end I only really care about two people enjoying themselves - me and FH!

But seriously I know that family and close friends will hang around and I won't be offended if people leave early. I'll dance with FH all by ourselves on the dance floor at 12 if no one is around!

That was the exact time of my reception on a Sunday night - everyone came and everyone stayed and partied to the last minute.

If you give people advance notice (i.e. by sending save the dates), it shouldn't be a problem!

That's when my wedding is. I wouldn't mind staying the entire time. My brother's was that time too, and they had to pay the haal and band overtime because noone would leave at 11! They left at 12!

My wedding is from 6-11 on a sunday night as well and at first i was concerned but now I have no worries. My close friends and family will take off the next day and most people live pretty close so should be able to stay. And even if people leave a little early I feel that it would give me time to really party with my closest friends and family.

I think it depends on the party. If the party is fun and I'm having fun, I'm there till the end. If I'm not enjoying myself, I would leave early.

That is the time of my wedding too but Sunday night weddings I have been to I didn't think about work at all. Unless the next day is your first day or a HUGE project is due, work is so routine anyway. Who cares if you miss two hours of sleep? Not me I am all for partying!!

Mine is 6-12 on Sunday night as well. People who want to stay will and the others.... Well, that is their problem! Do what is right for you and FW!!!!!

My wedding was 6-11 on a Sunday. It was fine, most people stayed until the end-even the old people. I don't think anyone left before the cake which was about 10.

Personally I would stay and take the next day off if I could. If I could not, I'd bite the bullet.

But I know other people that wouldn't. I don't know why, unless they cannot take the day off the next day.

We would stay as long as we were having fun. But I think some people leave early no matter the day or the time. We had several people (mostly from Jersey) leave shortly after the cake was served.
