Re: Wedding of the Year!

I just watched the video from last year's TWOTY, and everyone seems to be in work-type clothes: the girls are in black pants and sweaters, or casual skirts and blouses, and the guys are in khakis and button down shirts with no jacket or tie. I didn't see anyone 'dressy' except for the wedding party.

I think I want to go! Don't know if FH will, though - am I a total loser if I go alone? Or maybe with my sister (MOH) to get her more into the wedding spirit?

Re: Wedding of the Year!

Ok, I never thought FH would go, but after telling him its food, drinks, dessert, he was in!!!! And if you tell him they have a chance to win wedding stuff (less they may have to pay outta pocket) and a plasma screen tv for them!!! FH is going and I know a few others...so just make it sound like a huge funparty and they'll cave in!!!!

Sure! You'd be good for my rep - I've seen your picture, you look cute. But if I bring my sister, does that mean I have twice as many chances to win prizes? Cause that would be awesome. (And immoral? Shhh!)

Re: Wedding of the Year!

FH and I are definatly going...we are both looking forward to it. I didnt even have to finish asking he just said 'awesome im free lets do it!!' haha Especially since CLM is at the top of our list as a hall for our wedding! Im excited that we get to see everything in action that day, and it also helps to have all the vendors there at once!! How convenient!

Aww Jenn, you have such a good heart. I'd rather shoot myself in the foot though. Ok, so thats not true...but I WOULD rather have a cavity filled...or maybe have my apendix taken out. (Did I mention that I'm going to h3ll?)

I'm gonna go! When I get home I'll register me and FH!

Listen , you dAo have to be alone. A few days before we can tell each other what we are wearing and we can all meet there. For those of us that's with FH we can do our thing with FH and those of us that are by ourselves can sit, eat and talk together. I think that would be cool. What do you think ladies.

Re: Wedding of the Year!

yea.. i think that would be nice. I am not a very sociable person get nervous around new people because i am a odd invidual if you couldn't tell all ready.

If fh came anyway he would sit there eat and drink then want to leave and really have no fun with it. I guess i should get my ticket soon.

Re: Wedding of the Year!

I just asked FH and he agreed to go, but i was also thinking of seeing if my cousin would want to go. She'll be getting engaged in a couple of months and is already looking at magazines with me. Is there a limit to how many people you can bring?
