Hi...looking to find a beach location. Something smaller and more inimate than Sunken meadow. We'd prefer Suth shore. Having trouble geting permisson. Don't want to be forced to leave mid-ceremony. Already have reception plans elsewhere. Any suggestions? Thanks....Lauren

Try Captree. They have small beaches within Robert Moses. With them, you only need a permit. Call the NYS Department of Parks and Recreation in Babylon. Ask for the permit department. My dad used to work there. They are pretty friendly, or they were back there. You may also want to try Belmont Lake State Park,right next to the Department. It's beautiful there.
