ok what else do you eat?
This is a rough menu daily:
Oatmeal variety pack w/ tea/coffee
10am snack (at school w/ my kids) 100 calorie Nabisco pack or raw carrots/fruit cup
Lunch: Lean Cuisine or salad or cup of soup Campbells & small fruit cocktail or sandwich on low cal bread w/ Alpine Lace cheese & low fat turkey/ham
3pm: another 100 calorie pack or a fruit
Dinner: something reasonable: pasta stir fry; chicken cutlet w/ veggies; Weaver chicken w/ cheese patty; pasta w/ sauce; Lean Cuisine; etc.
Late Snack: WW ice cream pop/WW chocolate/100 cal pack
And lotsa water all day. I fill up my32oz. bottle w/ Crystal Lite lemonade/ice tea & drink, drink, drink
2 weeks ago I also joined the gym
I do lose fast, but I gain it just as fast

Re: Wedding WEight loss
19.5 lbs so far. This week with me being sick cracked my little plateu I was at!
Eliana- oatmeal for breakfast has worked wonders for me!!!
If you eat ice cream eat maybe 4-6 almonds - slows down break down of it- AKA keeps you full longer....
drink lots of water
try exercising if you could (even if it is for 10 minutes)
good luck!!! 6 lbs is better than no lbs!!!

Re: Wedding WEight loss
I agree, 6lbs is better than nothing. Now w/ the nice weather, its easier to walk or rollerblade or such.I find if I have a set menu I stick to it more. I do have to say weekends I allow myself to eat whatever (to a degree) on Sat/Sun.
The oatmeal has also brought down my cholesterol about 60pts

Re: Wedding WEight loss
I usually have a small breakfast (like a string cheese or a fruit)For lunch I usually eat a turkey burger with vegetables, a little salad.
I have a nice dinner, but nothing too crazy- and whatever pasta we have is always whole wheat.
I think fiber is a good key to weight loss- and so are your waters!!

Re: Wedding WEight loss
oh I love oatmeal. I have to get back on track myself. I put my shorts on from last year and they fit well and all but I think they were a little big on me last summer. Then last night I turned on the tv and Fit TV was taken away from Cable!!!
I was furious - -I love that network!!!
I am back in the saddle on Monday. I eat healthy all the time so I just have to start excersizing again....that's all it takes here a little sweat!

Re: Wedding WEight loss
Ive lost about 5 lbs (im only 4'11, so even a little weight loss is good for me!) , but i think its more stress related. Ive been trying to eat better - but I work in an office with 7 other guys in one room and they eat crap all day!im a MOH in july, so me and the bride are doing south beach and joining a class somewhere to get in shape!
eta: i gained about 8-10 lbs this year due to bcp - damn water weight!!

I've lost 7 pounds since January and I feel awesome! I've been eating cereal for lunch everyday and I watch what I eat for dinner. It's been working

Re: Wedding WEight loss
Last that I checked I was down about 9 pounds since I started trying to lose around Thanksgiving. I finally started going to the gym twice a week and I also walk a lot (a few miles a day, when I have school).
