Try Trina at Floral Expressions(vendor on here). She does beautiful work and worked within my budget. Also ask a florist what is in season adn inexpensive. I am using carnations packed tightly on a topiary ball and stuck on a candlestick.

Cheap! Then I must take the prize!

I am only getting personal flowers and a set-up of my centerpieces from my florist for only 600. She is also decorating my hall- bunting on the stairs, one flower arrangement set up at hall etc. I really don't like the smell of too many cut flowers- for some reason it reminds me of funerals. So I made my own- painted wooden lighthouse from Michaels, surrounded by silk rose petals and votive candles. There are so many ideas out there to do. FM if you want my florist information- she is great and creative. If you don't want high centerpieces, she is definately for you!
