Saturday Night !!!
Fridays would not work because we didn't want our guests to be stuck in traffic and thought everyone would be a bit tired after work to party.
Sundays was considered but thought that our guests would not really enjoy themselves because everyone has to work next day. Even though Sundays and Fridays are cheaper, we booked on a Saturday !!!

That is exactly what we thought. We didn't want guest to worry about work of traffic. Plus alot of our guest have children so we opted for a day wedding. I have to talk to Meaghan at Flowerfield about having the kids be able to feed the Koi in the pond in the coctail area or maybe the ducks outside.

Congratulations to everyone

and you'll also be doing alot of this

But in the end we'll all be doing this

I wanted a Saturday night fancy affair

I had a Bat Mitzvah when i was 13 and it was on my birthday march 13 in 1993..... well it was a Saturday night on the top floor of John and Anthony's but guess what.... it turned out to be the blizzard of 1993 and it was changed to a Sunday afternoon on the bottom floor
it wasn't the same at all

ever since then i said i would be getting married on a Saturday night... my parents didn't even question it... i was devastated when that happened... we had to cancel the night before

BUT..... EVERYONE came even the people that weren't coming to the last one
i want no worries and a Saturday night!

Friday night... Saturday is too expensive and we always have a good time on Fridays anyway.. a way to celebrate the weekend and our wedding!

Sunday. In the jewish religion, you can't get married from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. I think a Sunday wedding will be cheaper than a Saturday night affair.

Saturday night. FH wanted to get married on the 18th of the month in one of the warm months (his favorite number and therefore easier for him to remember!) and June '05 had it on the weekend.

Friday night....we were originally looking to book a Sat, but the only free Sat night our hall had wasn't until July and we didn't want a summer wedding...I have always wanted to get married in June...all the flowers are in full bloom, and hopefully it won't be too hot yet. We were deciding between Sun and Fri night and after talking to family and some friends they all said we should go for Fri! Our friends really liked the idea of having the whole weekend to recover

So it works for us

Sunday night of July 4th weekend. Feels like a Saturday because everyone is off the next day.

I thought I could have gotten that day for cheaper but not really because holiday weekends are becoming very popular.

Sunday. It is the day before Labor Day Monday and everyone is off and it is more cost effective on a Sunday.

Also, it is my MOH 11 yr wedding anniversary. She is also my aunt and very special to me.
