We will either do the set with two demitasse cups and a small espresso pot..
Or...an Ice bucket with a bottle of New Mexico wine and a personalized cd..

Wine glasses I found at pflatzgraff (tea rose pattern). I think we're putting a candle in it. Not sure of the details yet. For E party we ordered champagne flutes with a pink stem. We're going to fill them with personalized black and pink M&M's!!!

I'm thinking of doing bottles of wine from Palmer Vineyards...and Having labels made up. That's where we got engaged!

My mom and me are gonna check out the Lenox outlet in Jersey in a few months. A friend of mine getting married in December got Xmas plates there for her favors and she got an amazing price!

they do have really great prices there!!! It is great it is like 10 minutes from the Lincoln Tunnel.. not a far drive at all.

We are going to be doing an OOT basket which will be our favors.
We are including (these will all have our names and date lables):
a bottle of Vermont wine
a bottle of Vermont maple syrup
a small box of Vermont chocolate
a small block of Vermont cheese
and
2 bottles of water
2 small bags of chips
2 small packs of advil
plus
any information that we find for stuff to do.

I think this is a great idea for a fall wedding. We actually went to a wedding where they did this and I thought it was great!

I think it's a good idea, I'm having a fall wedding too and looked into the caramel apples. FH didn't like it because he said there will be older ppl, who have dentures and couldn't bite into them...good pt.

I'm a mental health counselor and I lost my father to cancer 5 years ago, so in lieu of giving gifts to each attendee we're sending a child to the Comfort Zone Camp for bereaving children who've lost a parent or sibling. My sister also did a charity instead of a favor, she sent a child with cancer to a cancer support camp for a weekend. Then each guest received a notecard explaining the gift given in their honor.
