shopping online for invitations. I didnt know I loved stationery so much! I loved being able to browse and create different invitation templates from the comfort of my own home. I really had fun with it.

I had fun trying on dresses with my mom and sister - and then later with samnjenna - Gilda at RK Bridal should have her own television show, she's hilarious and so blunt.

Working on all the personal touches!!!

I had all vendors picked out early that it wasn't a big deal...we knew who we wanted and got them.

The absolute favorite part is being creative. I was an art major in school...and now work in Insurance (enough said!)

actually it has been taking pictures of the entire process. I have pictures of almost everything, and started working on my photo journal...i'll probably make 1 for me and my mom...it's really cool and fun to see all the crap and all the good stuff too!!

But to be honest, I didn't like wedding planning at all!!!!

hmmm when it was over!?!??!?! I didnt like planning since I am the OCD type - I lost sleep over pew bows!

I am fortunate enough to have found LIW and that was the best thing that could have happened to me!

Dress shopping-- not BUYING (which was stressful deciding!!)

So many amazing beautiful dresses.. I love couture!!

I have really liked the idea part, if that makes sense. Getting all the ideas together, planning the color sceme, what invites, dresses, etc and then watching the wedding come together.

I don't like the paying part at all So not fun.

Looking at halls was my favorite. I loved the food tastings, it made me feel so important.

I have to say I have thoroughly enjoyed planning, even though right now I'm having a few bumps.

I bet the food tasting will end up being the best, lol... but that's tomorrow, so I'll let you know how it went.

I would also have to say that the best part of the planning has been the bonding aspect. My Mom and I have had a lot of problems in the past, but our relationship has really changed during the planning process, esp. now that I moved away. It's wonderful that it gives us something to both be involved in together. It has also brought me even closer to my FMIL, who I love.

My other favorite part was making my own invitations, even though it made my spin. I love craft-type things and I loved being so involved in the planning and creation of something for my own wedding.

None of it!!! I am totally missing the bride gene!!!! If someone else could have planned the whole thing for me, I would have been in heaven. I wanted to get a wedding planner but my mother convinced me that I would have fun doing it myself.......WRONG!!!!!! I'm really not into the whole flower, favors, invites,shower thing. I really wish I was, because most of the time, you girls seem like you're having a ball.

I really just can't wait to be FH's wife. To me, the rest of the wedding stuff is just a pain in the a$$.

I absolutely WILL admit though that I can't wait to wear my dress. Maybe there is a little bride gene in there somewhere!
