For my summer wedding I wanted water and flowers so we decided on the swan club- the grounds in the summer ( every season for that matter) are AMAZINNNGGGGG.

If travel was not a factor I think though I liked Atlantica (right on the beach in the hamptons!)

Loved Lands End. Loved it!
But the guarantee was too high and a wanted small-ish wedding. So we went with (and also really loved) Lombardi's on the Sound (Port Jefferson Country Club)... the guarantee there was 75 which was much better!

- Oheka Castle - never an option but i love it.
- Bourne Mansion - almost happened...
- Atlantica (have only seen it in pictures, but it looks gorgeous...didn't hold enough people for us)
- Areca in the Hamlet of Oyster Bay in Plainview - very close to booking
- Carlysle on the Green - not an option
- Captain Bills Bayview House - of course!!:) we felt this was the best value, great location, and the church and my parents house are both in the same town.

I obviously love Chateau La Mer but my second choice would have been Vineyard Caterers where my friend got married. It was beautiful and the food was amazing. I also liked Captain Bill's Bayview House.

Of course I love Flowerfield! However I looked at a ton of places and also really liked Lands End, and the Crescent.

Harrison House (and we got married there).
We also liked the places we visited North of the city (not on LI). I also liked Atlantica in West Hampton.

Flowerfield, their minimum was doable if FH's parents chipped in but once his father said he wouldn't help pay, that was out.
