I depise people that do not cover their mouth when they cough. It's disgusting. I should not have to risk my health because you're too lazy to put your hand to your mouth.

Thanks for the 'less' vs. 'fewer' explanation- you learn something new everyday!

I hate it when people say 'wit' or 'witch' instead of 'with' as in, 'I'm coming 'wit' you'.

My SIL always says, 'I got this at 'Targets'' or 'Old Navys'. Aaarrggh!

2. When a man sits next to me on the LIRR and HAS to spread his legs WTF??? I really don't think it's that big that you NEED to spread your legs like that
3. When people cut you off then drive 2 mph and make you miss the light
4. When I'm standing on line and people hover over me..PLEASE STAY BACK

Now you'll see how truly nitpicky I am! Note: I am a nerdy English teacher!

'Ten Items or Less' should really be 'Ten Items or Fewer.' Quick explanation: 'fewer' is used when the items in question can be counted, but 'less' is used for items that can't be counted.

For instance, it would be correct to say, 'We got less rain this year than we did last year.' Rain can't be counted. BUT if you were talking about inches of rain, it'd be correct to say, 'We got fewer inches of rain this year.'

Some stores have already changed the signs!

Oh, I also hate the incorrect use of apostrophes! 'Ten Item's or Less' would really set me off!

I hate when I get off at 42nd street station and people start walking in before letting us off!!!!

I hate when I am at work and men order their drinks to my breasts. Hello they don't take orders.

I hate when people put there feet in the subway seats.

I hate it when people at the supermarket push their cart down the wrong side of the aisle. (FH is so bad - he'll mutter under his breath, 'What, are we in England or something?')
And then they'll park their cart RIGHT in front of the item that I need, and then stand there for 5 minutes staring at the shelf trying to pick something. And it doesn't matter how obscure the item is that I need, there's always somebody in my way!

-BIGGEST ONE: WAITSTAFF THAT DONT KNOW HOW TO SERVE A PARTY THAT HAS AN INFANT SITTING WITH THEM. I cant tell you how many times I have to tell waitstaff NOT to pass a bowl of SOUP over Julianne's head...or place silverware in front of her..or pass dishes of hot food right under her nose. HOW DUMB ARE YOU???

- people who blow there noses-- and DONT use a TISSUE (YUCK!)

- people who cut you off, drive slowly, and THEN go through a red light

- people who dont buckle their children in the car...

- or who have children under the age of 10 in the front seat or IN THEIR LAPS while they are driving!!!

- 'ax' instead of ask
- yeah yeah yeah instead of YES

- wearing clothes that are 2 sizes too small for you

- 12 year olds dressing like vamps

-women who wear heels and can't WALK in them

- guys who sit on the train and spread their legs to cover two seats...this is a PAIN even when you sit in a four seater...inevitably I will sit there and get the one person who wont move their legs to accomdate mine. where am I supposed to put them bozo- I am tall too!

-paying $192 for a LIRR ticket and the train is delayed every night this week...and I had to stand 1/2 the time. For this we pay an increase?

People that beep the MICROSECOND the light turns green.
People that hem and haw when the train doors don't open the microsecond the train pulls into the station
People who grumble when you say good morning to them at work (sorry you're having a bad day don't take it out on me)

I know everyone is upset about the trains but there is a severe weather condition out there this week!
When the tracks ice over the trains can skid and not stop! It's dangerous. Thats why there are tons of delays. IF it was 80 and sunny all this week and still delays then yes I'd be pissed too but it's not and I think we should just let it slide a bit this week!

I didn't know there were 'lanes' in the aisles. For the most part I guess I stay to the right but not on the end aisles. They're wide and I'm not leaving my cart to go and get bread or milk on the other side, sorry!

My FI just told me to write 'idiot wedding stuff.'' When I asked him to clarify - he told me 'that I had to go to 15 florists' - that'[s a lie anyway!!! I only went to 7!!

OMG, you guys are funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I am horrible with grammar,
but I am a good speller (but I never mix your with you're) well, some of
the things I dislike are:

1-RUDE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My parents always taught me to be polite to everyone
and I hate it when you go to places (DMV, doctor's offices for example)
and the people at the front desk are horrible!!!!!!!!!! and when you say Hi
to someone and they don't return your greeting, or worse when people
come to someones house and don't greet the other people that are there
example: when I go to other peoples houses, I always say hello to everyone
that is already there, now no one in FI's family knows what this means!!!!!!!
they just walk in and don't say hello to anyone. Now, I have been taught
that when you enter a place (whether it be your own home, and especially
when there are people there) you should be the one to greet the other first
( I don't know if I make sense) AND
2- I hate people who like to SHOW-OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't like hairy necks.
I hate it when my FH corrects me. LOL
I hate when people write in CAPS.

As for the grammar, yes, I am guilty of grammatical errors; however, I always go back to edit. LOL (this last sentence is probably driving some of you nuts).

I cannot stand people who give their NEGATIVE opinion even when not asked. There are some people that never seem to learn 'if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all'.

I also hate people who complain about the same things all the time and yet make no effort to change them.

I hate lots of things but some of the ones that come to mind right now are

People who don't buckle their children or hold them in their lap or let them sit in the front seat or people who let their kids stand in the car... PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD CANT HAVE KIDS.

People who don't use blinkers. Yesterday on my way to the gym I stopped at the stop sign at the end of my block. On the other side a kid (like 18) was stopped at the stop sign (our cars were facing each other nose to nose) I start to go and he starts to go. And he makes a left in front of me.. I almost hit him. He didnt have a blinker on. How was I suppose to know he was gonna turn in front of me? I beeped at him and said 'yeah its called a BLINKER' he rolled down his window and cursed at me and called me a fat F**k!!!!! WHAT?????? A$$hole use a f**cking blinker.

ETA I am the worst speller in the world I also never to the grammer stuff right. Sorry

I hate 'Barnes & Nobles' there was only one NOBLE, that is all!

I also cannot stand when people use, Miss, Ms. and Mrs. incorrectly.

I don't like when people assume that I have become Mrs. Steven __________. I still have a first name. When I got married, I did not morph into him!

I don't like people who don't finish sentences. For example, the Ellen show drives me mad b/c she speaks in fragments! UGH!!!!

I also don't like people who lie for no apparent reason!

Also, for those that drive....Please stay in one lane and one lane only!
