Our song is by Ray Charles, 'What Would I Do Without You?' Before we were engaged and FH was sick, he used to say that this song was the way he felt about me. I was upset because the very first line says, 'Don't deceive me!' But FH told me to keep listening. I had always wanted 'From This Moment On' by Shania Twain. Once he became sick, this song just kept playing in my head. So we both just agreed that we would use it. I can't find the words but it really is how we feel about each other. I'll write the words that I can remember.

That was my brother and SIL's song. I cried.

Ours is either 'Here n Now' or 'Through the eyes of Love' from Melissa Manchester. It was the theme song to Ice Castles back in 77-78 i think

We're knocking heads on this one. I really want Amazed by Lonestar (like many of you ladies) which is exactly why FI wants something 'nonmainstream'. He wants 'Forever' by Ben Harper which I like but I've said since Amazed came out that it would be my wedding song (even though I wasn't with FI or anyone at that time). Ah, we'll see...the art of compromise.

Oh wow, I haven't heard that song in years! I absolutely love it!
As for my wedding song, it's my little secret.

Maybe I'll let on a day or two before the wedding. All I will say is that it's a song none of you have probably ever heard.

FH is picking the song. I told him he's in charge of all the music, including picking the DJ. He's way more into music than I am, and I have no doubts that he'll do a good job. But more than likely it will be a song that isn't played on the radio all that often. He'll probably make it unique and special, and every lyric will have a special meaning to us.

I hope I don't cry when I finally hear it though...I've become such a wedding mush!
