What gifts are you giving to your bridal party? FH and I have been having somewhat of a hard time deciding what to get.

Re: Where are the November Brides???

Very pretty necklaces!!! They're going to love them. So far, I bought the bridesmaids a necklace and earing set from the 1928 collection at Macy's. It matched the girl's dresses perfectly. But I wanted to do something else. I was thinking of buying them each a Vera Bradely bag in a different color for each girl.

My FH was thinking of buying the guys gold tie tacks. He really liked that idea. They're going to cost abouot $50-$60. I just didn't think they were worth that $$$, but I guess they are since they are 14K gold.

Re: Where are the November Brides???

My girls are getting their shoes dyed..looks like I am the only one doing this
As for the hair, my only request to them is to have it up, how I don't care, just up
I bought each BM and my JR BM a coach wristlet and a rhinestone necklace
My FG got a coach compact and a rinestone necklace as well
My MOH got a coach bag and rhinestone necklace too
My FI still has to pick out the GM's gifts and we still have to get all of the parent's gifts as well.

Re: Where are the November Brides???

Janine, I love the Wedding Barbie idea for the FG. How cute!

I was thinking of getting my FG, who is also my niece, a gold locket with our picture in it (if I can get a picture that small to put in the locket) and a jewlery box.

I have no idea what to give to our parents. We want to do something really nice and special for them , but I'm still uncertain. I was thinking about sending my parents to Mohegan Sun for a weekend or maybe to Montauk because they love it out there so much. But for his parents, we have no clue!

Any suggestions???

Re: Where are the November Brides???

For us, 3 out of 4 parents are deceased, but we have Aunts & Uncles that are taking different roles. For my Aunts, I bought them each a matching Lenox bud vase, large picture frame and votive candle holder. Then for my one Aunt who has been like my foster-mother, I also bought her a lenox trinket box that comes with a special heart pendant/necklace. For my Uncle/Godfather, we got him an engraved pocket knife which my Dad would have loved had he been alive and then we are also getting him an expensive fountain pen -- he's an attorney so he will use it often - I think I might engrave 'Not just a Godfather' on the pen.

Since FH's family is Irish, for my FMIL, we got her and his Aunt a Beleek vase and large picture frame, and then for FMIL we also got a pretty Beleek trinket box.

I hope this helps! I got some great deals online for all this stuff!
