We are flying to Puerto Rico for 3 days, staying at a friends condo.. then we are taking a 7 day carribean cruise from PR - neither one of us have ever been on a cruise so we figured this would be a great chance to go!!

You will love cruising. Fh and I are sort of addicted, I am actually sad we aren't going on a cruise for our honeymoon. Its the ultimate in relaxation.


We are going to Aruba, staying a Bucuti Beach resort and spas. Can't wait less than one month to go!!!!!!

Most the beaches in Europe are not that nice either. Ibiza, Spain has nice but other than they, the sand is very rocky and cannot compare to the carribean. I have been to St Tropez, Niece, Ibiza, Capri, etc. If you want to go to Europe, sight see, don't go for the beaches. I was not a fan of Hawaii either..again pacific ocean doesn't compare to the carribean. Hawaii is another great sightseeing place.

Hawaii, since it is sooo far, is a once and a lifetime trip and I would recommend that for a HM. So much to do.

well...yes the beaches in Europe are mostly rocks as opposed to sand but they sell little beach shoes for that...i must say though that in my opinion..I'd pick a beach in Europe over the caribean ANY DAY OF THE WEEK! I have been to plenty..including Croatia which is my fave being that my dad was born there... i guess its all a matter of opinion though!

We are going to Vegas. We are not really travelers so we wanted to stay in the states. I hate to fly so anything more then 5 hours I might jump out of the plane.

I would recommend Cabo - we went there for my b-day a couple yrs ago, and honestly, it was the best vacation we have ever been on. So much to do during the day, or night. Very Safe to walk around the marina/downtown area. The weather is awesome, and they have excellent restaurants, just like you find in the US. I think we ate at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse more often than not.

we're going to Sandals Antigua

I have been to all of those places.

Turks (I did Club Med) -- gorgeous beaches nothing else going on. Do not go to beaches. My friend's travel agent booked her there it is a family resort.

Aruba (Westin) -- beautiful beaches, casinos, restaurants. My favorite of the three

Cabo (on cruise) -- I'm not fond of the pacific ocean, I prefer the carribean beaches and ocean. We didn't spend a lot of time there, just a day but have no interest in flying that far for beaches not as nice as the carribean.

Have you also looked into the Dominican Repubic, we go every year. Beautiful beaches, casinos, night clubs. We stay at the Paradisus, Punta Cana.

We are now considering Sandals Antigua. The place looks great.

I'm from DR so we want to go somewhere else. DR is awsome though. GO DR!

we're going to negril, jamaica for 5 nights, LA for 1 night and then an 8 day cruise to puerta vallarta, cabo san lucas and mazaltan(sp?)

we went to Northern Brazil and stayed at a resort called Nannai. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants a cheaper alternative to Tahiti, but still wants to go somewhere exotic and luxorious (and a little closer)!

Oh FH and I did that! Are you going to St. Thomas, Aruba, Dominica, and Barbados (not in that order)? We also spend the weekend in PR before boarding the ship.

We are spending 10 days in Belize.

We're doing 4 nights in Disney at the Polynesian, then 7 nights at Excellence Playa Mujeres in Cancun!!!
