Ditti to what Wendy said - Stop and Shop. It's the only supermarket in Oyster Bay

I also used to go to the Stop and Shop that was at the corner of Jericho Tpke and South Woods Rd. in Woodbury, but they closed that store down and moved it further down Jericho Tpke, and now it's not on my way home anymore!

Stop and shop. I love them, always double coupons. The people at the one we go to are so friendly and it is extremely clean.

On another note, I won't say which supermarket, I once had some cookies from the bakery department. After eating half of the lace cookies, you know the one with chocolate and it is pretty flat yet bumpy. There was a MAGGOT burrowing in one of the wholes. blech blech blec I REFUSE TO SHOP THERE!!!!

And it was not stop and shop.

PathMark and a store here called 'Food Basics' (not sure if they are in NY but they are here in NJ) - they have about 95% of what normal supermarkets have but it is wholesale so you don't always find everything.

I miss Stop N Shop in Queens!

I have a Stop & Shop, Pathmark, Waldbaum's and King Kullen, all between work and home, very close to one another, so I'll go where there is a good deal. First choice seems to be Stop & Shop though - best coupon deals. And Costco for certain items.
