With the exception of hair and make up, I will be getting ready in the bridal room at the location of my wedding (where ever that may be). We are getting married and having the reception at the same place.

I'm getting ready at home. My brother and sister, FH, the makeup and hair people, the photographer and the videographer wil be there. I can't see fixing breakfast for everyone, so I'm having a bagel platter delivered.

I'm from Maryland (FH from Queens), so I think I'll have all my bridesmaids and my mom come to the bridal suite and Jericho Terrace. Hopefully we can get someone for hair/makeup to travel. I imagine it will be hectic and crazy, but I think that will be fun, and I want lots of people around when I get ready.

I am getting ready at my parents and FH will be at his parents. I plan on getting bagels or something for the morning.

At my Parents house where I still live at anyway. Fh and I are very tradtional and are not moving in togather until after the wedding.

I am sleeping at my parents and getting ready there. FH will be at our apartment or his parents.

same here, I think its nice to have bagels or snacks for people that will be over the day of, we'll have a buffet type of thing set up so my mom doesnt have to worry much about it. Ask someone else to pick them up for you if you dont find a place that delivers.

I'm getting hair and makeup done at our house. I haven't decided if I'm getting a town car to pick me up so I can out the dress on here or just drive to the catering hall and put the dress on there.

FH is getting ready at a local hotel. His parents live nearby but his OOT sisters, husbands and their kids are all getting ready there so it will be mayhem.

Either FFIL is getting bagels for both houses or I'll get it delivered.

I don't really know yet since it's still so far away. I know I'll be sleeping at my mom's house the night before. I'll prob get ready there so we can take pics on the front lawn. But the RH has this great suite where they said I can get ready and my hair/make-up person can come there to get me ready. I might do that if the weather is gonna be bad.

Ill def be at home( i still live with my parents)... but since we are not getting married till 4 I think I will just have my sister and my MOH sleep here the night before with me and then we'll all meet at the hair salon (my reg hair stylist is doing my hair) and come back to my house for lunch and getting ready, pics etc.

I dont know what FH's plans are but I think for him a hotel is in store.

i live with my parents, and although i think it will be nice to get ready one last time in my own house, since i am getting oheka for the entire day and i absolutely luv their suite, should i get ready there? i was going to make this a post later, but figured i'd ask here since the topic was brought up. It would be perfect to have pics of the girls getting ready at oheka, but my church is in my neighborhood in Queens so the limos would have to take us all back to queens. What should i do? get ready at home or get ready at oheka?


For the original post, i definitely think u should have some bagels and other breakfast for the girls getting ready or coming over to your house. food always makes people happy :) You can assign one of your friends or someone else in the bridal party to go pick up the food for you.
