If you are getting a desktop get a dell - if you are getting a dell laptop send me a forum mail - I will tell you why I would not buy another dell laptop. But their desktops are highly recommended.

Go to www.dell.com you get great deals if you purchase them online thats what I did

I have a dell laptop and desktop. I agree you can buy a better laptop for the same amount of money or cheaper somewhere else. I love my desktop. I have the Dimension 8100 with the Flat Screen monitor. Love it and there customer service is great.
