You can get renter's insurance... your e-ring will be covered under that. That's what we did.

We have renters insurance thru allstate and added a rider policy for the ring and some expensive electronics we own. No issues at all!

We are using State Farm - The same company we have out car insurance with - Its a separate policy...

My FH did the same- he uses State Farm for his car, so he took a separate policy on my ring.

My rings are insured thru a rider to our renters insurance thru Allstate - I haven't had a single problem with them. What did they say to you - they do riders for jewelery all the time - Until I recently added my wedding band it was only my e-ring and we had no issue

I will look into getting a rider because they have issues with doing it under regular renters insurace. Like they say...never sand a man to do a woman's job!!
