your ceremony is at your reception hall? Do you invite all your guests or just close frields and family?

Everyone is invited to both. There are a few families I work with who asked to see me get married, and I'm having them come to the ceremony at the reception hall, but I wouldnt have done that unless they asked...

Re: Who do you invite to your ceremony if....

I'm never a fan of people who invite some people to only the ceremony and not the reception. It's like saying 'you're good enough to see me get married but not to celebrate with me after'. I dunno, it just seems rude (except in those case wherein someone specifically asks the name of the church/reception hall so they can see you get married when they know that you can't invite them).

I remember reading somewhere about a girl that had two receptions, in two different rooms at a hotel. One, a lesser one for people they weren't as close to. That too seems wrong. But I digress.

I would think that you need to invite everyone.

Re: Who do you invite to your ceremony if....

For a ceremony at a reception hall, usually everyone is invited and the ceremony is immediately followed by the CH.

Re: Who do you invite to your ceremony if....

Thanks!!!! That's what I thought as well. I AM inviting everyone to my ceremony. The reason I ask was because I had a little arguement with a friend of mine. She thinks I'm crazy to invite all my guests to my ceremony. She thought it would be rude???!!! I had no idea what she was saying!!!

Good thing all you ladies agreed with me!!!
