janwinterbridejoy- I love your dishes! The colors are gorgeous!Mine are also Pfalzgraff- the Misson Flower pattern.
ETA: The settings for my china are $25 each- typical Pfalzgraff is from $20 to $30 a setting. I got some serving pieces for my shower but I also got several pieces online for a great price.
Pfalzgraff.com has TONS of patterns, to give you an idea of what's out there- they have a great range.

Is it absolutely INSANE to spend about 600 for everyday dishes?

Umm...JMO, but YES! I personally think you should be cheaper with your every day dishes, because they go through a lot of wear and tear and if something breaks, you won't feel so guilty.

for a setting of 8 its only 200 but then I wanted the matching 16oz glasses and the matching 8 oz juice glasses...which turned into the matching flatware and the matching napkin holder..ooh cant forget the matching salt and pepper shakers and some matching bakeware as well....I get a little crazy about having stuff match. Can you tell?

Re: Who makes your everyday dishes? New question on bottom of page 1
I have a crate & barrel set. They were $37 per place setting (4 pieces - dinner dish, salad plate, cereal bowl, mug) and I thought that was a little expensive. But it was on my registry so I did it. If I had to do it again, I'd go slightly cheaper, maybe $15 - $25 per setting. All the accoutrements really do add up though

Well, on the one hand it seems like a lot, but if you apply the cost-per-use formula (like if you use them daily and get a few years out of them) then I could see justifying the expense.
I did not register for fine china, so I wanted nice casual dishes with all the serving pieces (bowls, canisters, platters, etc) and I spent a good amount of my own money.
You could also look at it from the POV of the fact that you already spent a lot of money to renovate your kitchen. $600 might be a small amount of the total cost. And if it really 'completes' the look, then go for it.
