I think it was a long time coming, they are feeling like soo guilty that they re-did there whole home instead of helping us pay for the wedding, so they think we haven't been talking to them because of that, instead of the real reason that we just had finals lol

just have your fh talk to them and tell them to stop acting this way and explain to them your situation.

His dad FLIPPED out, like I mean I couldn't believe my ears, because FH cursed at his wife, it was pretty bad, you should hear the voicemails..

also he didn't go to FSIL wedding, soo yeah his dad is nuts ..

I don't think he even wants to talk it out with them, there so stubburn these 2 guys... I don't even know what to do..

Tell them if you THINK we're not talking to you for that...how the heck do they think you guys will feel when FHs family isn't there?!?!?

I know, FH is so upset right now, but won't say it.. there to stubborn to call... but his dad has always been this way, doesn't care.

I really will be sooo upset, 4 of our bridal party is on the side, but at this point if they want to act this way I don't want them there.. his dad will end up drunk and fight with FH, and its just not fair...

for some reason it seems like the $h!t always hits the fan when you hit the 2 week mark! I know it did for my sister and for me too! I'm sure they'll come around... how incredibly selfish and ridiculous! They should be embarassed!

Wow and 2 weeks before your wedding! I know it's hard but if they're going to act this way I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of letting it get to you so close to the big day! This should be a happy time. I'm hoping they come to their senses and show up!

I really hope they do, but his dad is just a hard head, doesn't care about what this will do to his son, hes just so crappy a person... So selfish him and his wife .. And they got the rest of the family telling us how selfish and disrespectful we are, its funny

We had emails from the other family memebers yelling at us, so we're assuming there not coming, I really don't even know what to do at this point. My final headcount was supposed to be in yesterday... Blah hear I go crying again, i can't believe they would do this to their son on his wedding day.

I really appreciate everyones kind words, I truly hope they come around, but Im not sure they will, I will keep you all updated, and even if they do come everyone is more than welcome to attend, we are below our minimum anyways .. Love all you girls!

honestly i think you should all some of the other family members and see if they really are comming! let them know you guys are really sad and if you have to give the hall a new head count and they decide to show up...they are SH!T out of luck!

i am so sorry- i cant believe that they would not show up at your wedding- I hope they change their minds- and if they dont, I'm sure that you will have a beautiful wedding without them and it will be their loss

I'm sorry this happened....and so close to the wedding too.

But my FH's family lives RIGHT by there...he's from old bridge! If my wedding weren't the next day, i'd totally go.

You'll have a GREAT day anyway!
