Did you try Marisa? She carries the type of silhouette you are looking for. She doest advertise so you wont find anything current online but Bridal Reflections carries her dresses. They are gorgeous!

I love the first dress, however, I am partial to Jim Hjlem as that is who makes my dress.

If you are unhappy with your bridal attendant at Kleinfeld's, call up and get another one. I can recommend mine if you like, she is awesome. If you are willing to spend the $$, there is no reason why you cant request a different attendant.

Also, there is no more Kleinfled's in Brooklyn, they moved to NYC, which is the one you went to.

Where did you get your Jim? I felt annoyed by my attendant because she told me 'with your budget, this is the best you're gonna do,' and wouldn't even let me try other stuff on. I just felt like they were snotty betches. Which makes me wanna give my money to someone else.

I didn't know they shut the one in Brooklyn. Wah.

And as far as Pronovias goes, I like alot of their dresses online but I tried on some at Village Bridal yesterday and they were a little too frilly for me...

Ah! I was also thinking of trying Priscilla.

who was your salesperson? i cant believe they said that. I was never asked what my budget was at all, she just asked me what designers and style i want to look at. Infact i narrowed it down to 2 choices and the salesperson i had plus elyse the manager were both there and they both convinced me to go with the dress that costs just a little less bc they felt it looked better on me, rather than convincing me to go with something expensive just to make a bigger sale.

They were so great and was treated amazing. I heard so many things that i was nervous before i went. But i was pleasantly surprised when they didnt ask what my budget was and didnt assume either which would've been worse. The lady i had was the sweetest lady and has been working at kleinfelds for about 25 years. Her name was judith lerner

I hated my experience at Priscilla of Boston. The attendant was super rude, wouldnt let my mom and sis come into the room with me, asked my budget, which i said was not the most important thing, what mattered was that i loved it then she asked me who my style idol was and i said i dont have any celebs that i always love their style, she then proceeded to look me up and down and say 'oh then i guess you are your own style idol'. mind you, i did not put on my best couture to go bridal dress shopping. anway, she then took out 3 dresses and told me she didnt have anything else in the store that would suit me. (i am a sample size, so every dress fits me, i'm not sure what she meant). ANYWAY,

you should try WEDDING ATELIER. they are on 5th Ave, ask for Debra. She is amazing. I didn't get my dress from there but they have every kind of dress, amazing designers, Priscilla dresses as well, and are NICE. They also work with you and your body type and don't feed the b.s. about how you look great.

i LOVE the second and third dresses - they are beautiful!

i would try the wedding salon in Manhasset - they have a HUGE selection and the people who work there are very nice!
