I don't know much about them, but my mom uses them at Christmas. I am sure your florist would know. They still drip a little but they burn very slowly.

the arrangements are beautiful. Are the candelabras provided by the hall? If so, my BM explained how they work (I am assuming the Watermill has the same as the Fox Hollow b/c they have the same owners)

The candle is actually inside a plastic casing w/ a spring on the bottom. As the candle burns down, the spring moves up, keeping the flame a tthe top. This way, the candle appears to be the same height throughout the night and won't burn down into the flowers.

I would check with Fox Hollow first, some venues do not allow open flames that high. I am using their house florist and have candles going up the stand of the centerpiece and he is using those LED lights, so it looks like an open flame but its actually battery.
