True, an opinion is an opinion. So here is mine:

This is the only thing I got from that article but from an entirely different perspective:

THIS is why I scoff at people who tell me I lose my identity if I assume my husband's last name. Am I submissive to him in any way as this article would indicate that I am (and so happily so)? Find me a submissive Jewish woman (like me ) from LI who demonstrates subservience to her husband. I may PAY to see that. Funny, my mother and sister didn't lose themselves at all. They rule the roost!

so I googled the nutjob and turns out she also writes for the 'Second Wives Club' (wonder what happened to the first marriage?) and a site called 'Taken In Hand' -- which apparently offers a place for women to learn how to be more submissive and controlled by their husbandds -- can you say 'over my dead body!'
