I think any of those colors is fine. So many people have black now. I never thought I would but I did. It was very elegant. But if your heart is set on caramel/wheat, try to find a dress your girls love in that color.

Glory - my best advice to you is forget everything you've ever seen at other weddings - what is 'traditional' and do it all your own way!!!

Whether it be wheat, black or neon green - there are no rules. Do what makes you happy - with this matter and all that will soon follow! : )

I wish you all the best -

I think anything you want is perfect. You are the bride and it is your day to shine. I recently had the same problem because I choose black which I never thought I would have and I am looking forward into seeing it all come together. My future mother in law had something to say about it as well as my future sister in law but you know what I love the dress and black is very elegant. My future sister in law is wearing one of the dresses so she does like it but thinks it is not approprite. Look sometime last week I asked the question regarding the BM dress and see some of the responses.

Hi Glory. Go for whatever color you want. It is your day. I have worn two seafoam green dresses and no one even gave me the option of a color. A caramel or wheat color would look great in the fall. I am getting married late October and chose black for my bridal party (who doesnt like black) Go with what you want. You have a picture in your mind of what your day should look like so do whatever your heart desires. Good Luck!!

I think it's your wedding and you should do what you want. Never mind what everyone else wants. I know they have to wear it and pay for it, but it is your wedding. What you say goes!!!

I looked at Sans Souci b/c I heard the food was great but it was too small for us. It would be perfect for a wedding of your size. One affair at a time, it's very intimate. Kat is right, the outdoor area is beautiful for the ceremony and cocktail area. Their prices start at $80, but I'm sure if you book a holiday or an afternoon reception the price would be better.

I wish you all the best -

i have blk dresses

I too, have my BMs in black. DO whatever you prefer. If you are set on the wheat color, try to find an alternate dress and see what they look like side by side....

Good luck!

What really sold me, besides all that other stuff was that I had spoken over the phone with, and had met at least 6 other photographers. All of which were real sales men. I had only one specific request, that the groom didnt see me before I walked down the isle. All the other photographers ( I can only speak of the ones I met with) were trying to convince me that because of the time of day and the location that they wanted family pictures and posed shots taken before the wedding, before the guests arived, on the catereing hall premisis. That it was silly (yes one place did use those words) and that now a days its no big deal if he sees me first.
