Blue Moon for first dance song?


FH and I really like Blue Moon - but is it a weird first dance song? Our band is a jazz/swing band, so they would sing it very nicely.

Here are the lyrics:

I Love it!

It reminds me of the movie 'Grease'...when they won the dance contest...this was their spotlight song. It is a beautiful choice!

I think the lyrics are perfect... especially done by a jazz/swing band.

I never knew the words and they are nice but IMO when I hear Blue Moon I think of the scene in Grease

I think it's a nice song - if it means something to you, then go for it.

Does not make me think of Grease at all but Moonlighting ...
