DIY Petal Cones - Help

I tried doing a search, but perhaps this will be easier...

Can someone send me a link to a site that shows me how to make petal cones?

I know there's another thread on this, but this is how we did them for my sister:

We used the 6 inch doilies, rolled them into a cone (think waffle cone), hot glue gunned the seam closed, and then added sea themed stickers to them (one sticker, right on the seam), I'm sorry I don't have a pic-but we are not crafty at all, and short of getting some glue on my nails-it was easy, and quick-we made 100 in about an hour....now the biggest problem is keeping them safe from the dog until the wedding.

I have been using 6x6 paper (cut down from 12x12) then attaching it to a preprinted 8.5x11 sheet and running it through the printer. To close it I used some double sided tape and put on a bow:

#1 - TechniqueMaking Doily Cones
Doilies, or other decorative paper
Utility knife
Sticker or tape
rose petals 1. To make the cones, cut 12-inch doilies into quarters with a utility knife. 2. Roll the paper into cones, and seal with a sticker or tape. Stand the cones in a tissue-paper-lined box. 3. Fill the cones with fresh rose petals a few hours before the ceremony. You’ll need one opened rose for each cone.

#2 - Rose Petals (from Marther Stewart.com - see picture #1 below)
Cut paper doilies into quarters, roll into cones, and seal with a sticker or tape. On the day of the wedding, fill the cones with petals from fresh, opened roses. Stand the cones in a tissue paper-lined box, and hand them out to guests just after the ceremony.

Although I'm not doing petals (b/c of the church)...a florist taught me how to make them. All you do is take a piece of white paper on an angel and tape it up the side...that's all the florist does (so I was told by one)! I can't say I tried this...so, let me know how it goes! Good Luck!
