Does the color of pugs skin change?

Chewie's stomach and any skin showing was very pink and now it is turning a dark gray/black color. Is this normal? It's just so different than the pinkish color.

i just noticed that on layla's tummy.....

she's part pug...

i was thiking it was a part of getting older?

Yes Otis's stomach did the same thing!! IT was so pink and then it started to turn dark and almost black it is normal!! I do miss the pink also!!

Fascinus had the same thing happen. His belly is now a bit grey & black.

Hi,

Yes, that is very normal. My pug is two when he was younger he also had a pink tummy but as he got older it turned that brownish/grey color you mentioned.

Not to worry it happens as they get to a certain age.

Aren't Pugs the best??...Oh, I LOVE my Cha-Chi he makes my day everyday!
