Garden City Hotel Smaller room upstairs Societe Suite

I am looking to have my wedding at the garden city hotel.. Only 100 peoplein the smaller room on the second floor. Does anybody know anything about this. Past experiences, food,

I'm having my wedding there!! We are having about 130 people but it can accommodate up to about 200. It is not small but it is more intimate than the grand ballroom which can fit 500. Have you seen the Societe Suite? It is so beautiful. It is hard to envision just how beautiful it will be when it is not all set up, but I have managed to obtain some pics of it so I will attach them.

The price pp is exactly the same as in the grand ballroom, and for a Sat evening June wedding it starts at $235pp before taxes and gratuity. This includes 8 passed hors d'euvres, an appetizer, a salad, main meal (choice of 3), a dessert and an amazing wedding cake by their famous pastry chef who is the owner of Cakes by Jay. You can also add on other things as we are doing, but the price can really skyrocket. The food and service are supposed to be 5 star. My mom ran into someone the other day who said that she had attended a wedding upstairs at the GCH and she said it was by far the best and most amazing wedding she had ever been to. She said the food was to die for and the service was just as amazing, and that everything was just beautiful. I've heard this from numerous people so I am confident it will be amazing. But again, it is the bride and groom who make the wedding, so dance your butt off and enjoy every minute of it!!! If I can think of any more info to share with you, I'd be happy to. Also, search for Caper24 who just got married there in June. She has some pictures up... and she also said everything was perfect, absolutely no complaints. HTH!!
