Re: Jericho Terrace, Crest Hollow, or Swan Club?
We got married at the Swan Club. We fell in love with the gardens. We also loved how quiet it was over there. When we went to Jericho Terrace we didnt love all the traffic over there. My friend got married there 14 years ago and I can remember it was raining sooooo hard that day and it took forever for us to make the left because traffic was soooo bad.

Re: Jericho Terrace, Crest Hollow, or Swan Club?
I looked at Crest Hollow and Swan Club when I was looking at rehersal halls. The grounds at Crest Hollow are absolutely gorgeous. When we were walking around outside I felt like we were having a destination wedding but we were actually down the block from where we live!I have been to many events for work at Crest Hollow and the food is also amazing. I have never been to an event there where the staff was not helpful and a pleasure to work with.
We also very much liked Swan Club. The outside grounds were amazing but we were not as wowed with the rooms. We liked the bigger room better than the smaller room but we would have had to guarantee 165 to get the big room. We are trying to keep our wedding to 150. If we were in the smaller room we really felt that the room could not fit 150.
Another thing that was against Swan Club was the fact that there are not a lot of hotels located near it. The ones that are close are on the more expensive side.
Honestly I do not think you can go wrong with any of the 3 that you picked. I did not go to Jericho Terrace but only because I had my prom there and did not want to have my wedding at the same place.!
Wow... that was long but I hope it helped. Feel free to FM me if you have any other questions you want to ask me.

We chose JT. We just felt like we got SO much for our money. At first I wanted an outdoor CH but in the end, I didn't miss it in the least and I was glad that I didn't have to worry about the weather especially because they were predicting nothing but icy cold t-storms the entire week leading up the wedding.

Re: Jericho Terrace, Crest Hollow, or Swan Club?
Thanks for your opinions. Ive always loved Swan Club, but they would only have the small room for me, and I'm afraid that it might be too small.I had my prom at Crest Hollow and a good friend of mine got married there as well. I don't know what room they would have for me there, but i would assume the smallest one because I told them at MAX I would have 150 guests.
Jericho Terrace is so beautiful, I really love it, but the price and minimum is just a lil high, and im wondering if its worth it to go over my budget to have it there....

Re: Jericho Terrace, Crest Hollow, or Swan Club?
I am bias of course but I have to say JT was spectacular!!! The food was delish we were treated like family there from day 1 and it was just wonderful. It never bothered me that there would be more than one wedding at a time, and I didn't want an outdoor CH as it was late August and I assumed it would be SUPER HOT! It ended up being 78 and as sunny as could be. I'm still glad the weather was one thing I didn't have to worry about it.
I say JT is worth every penny, and I would go as far as to say they should be charging MORE considering the amount of food they give you and their stellar service!
any questions please feel free to FM me

Re: Jericho Terrace, Crest Hollow, or Swan Club?
I honestly loved Jericho terrace and i was soo close to booking them but i found that it wasnt really that handicap accessable. I have an aunt in a wheel chair and my father walks with a cane and has a hard time on the steps. when you walk in to JT you have to go up steps to get to the first level of rooms and then go down steps and up more steps. I know that they have an elevator but i didnt want my dad and aunt to feel like they have to use the side door to access it.I choose crest Hollow bc it was very accessible. there is a beautiful out door area which we hope to have cocktail hour and our room is the down stairs emerald room that is right off the pool. CH was also one of the best prices that w e got.

We looked at all 3 and ended up going with JT. It was just for us and the price was by far the best. I'm so glad we went withJT because they did an amazing job. The food was great and the service was fabulous.

Re: Jericho Terrace, Crest Hollow, or Swan Club?
Of thsoe three I only looked at CHCC and of course i have to say it is beautiful! i havent had my tasting yet but everyone I know keeps saying they have gone to affairs at CHCC and the food it amazing.I didnt look at swan club because a few years ago my cousin got married there...it was a rainy day and they had buckets in the room to catch water as it leaked through the ceiling! I am not kidding. It was prob 5 years ago and I am sure it is fixed by now however it left a bad impression with my family and so I didnt even want to look at it.
HTH
FM if you have any questions on CHCC

We chose JT too! I was DEAD against getting married there but the rooms are GORGEOUS and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The only think I WISH was that there was more places to take pictures outside. If you are going to take your pictures elsewhere then JT is PERFECT! CH grounds are GORGEOUS (my BM got married there in June) BUT the food was eh IMHO and the room she had was a little weird with some people up a couple steps with their tables and others closer to the floor.

sounds like your friend got married in the emerald room. i saw that room and personally didnt love the seating arrangement for it (bc of the steps and dancefloor etc). my BM told me that room is more 'clubby' and is typically used for sweet sixteens and bar mitzvahs. The upstairs rooms are completely different....a basic ballroom configuration. it all depends on what the bride wants. if you go check it out be sure to see all 3 rooms before making a decision

This.
Though I absolutely LOVE Swan Club's cocktail hour room. My cousin got married there in 2001 in June and it was amazing.
I ultimately was deciding between North Ritz Club and Crest Hollow but went with Crest Hollow because of better food reviews and curb appeal. Being the only bride there didn't matter to me.
At Jericho Terrace, they'll put you in the Penthouse Room which personally I did not care for because of the low ceilings. High ceilings are a big deal for me. I'm in the Plaza room at Crest Hollow, but I'm not sure they'd give that to you (but you can sure ask for it!). They'll probably want to put you in the Emerald room which is the one on the main floor.
FM me with any specific questions you might have!

Our wedding at CHCC was amazing!! We guaranteed 150 and were in the Plaza Room. Everyone raved about the outdoor cocktail hour.

Re: Jericho Terrace, Crest Hollow, or Swan Club?
I have never been to the CH or SC so I cant say anything about them! However, we had our wedding at JT and I feel that for everything we were getting...it was perfect!! We have absolutely no complaints during our planning process or the day of the wedding. I'm assuming the prices prob went up b/c of the renovations that took place in the Dome and Penthouse rooms? We booked our wedding in 2008 and lucked out that the Dome Room was renovated a month before our wedding! But anyway, I highly recommend them!! Every aspect of JT was perfect and amazing. Guests are still talking about it!
Also, I don't know about the other 2 halls you are contemplating, but JT has a relationship with some hotels (We blocked rooms at the HIlton Garden Inn but there may be others) and therefore, guests who stayed there had complimentary shuttle service to and from the hotel and JT. We didn't have to pay for anything. Other halls may do this too, but I thought that was pretty nice and saved us money on extra shuttles! Not sure if you are going to be doing that too but it is just something to keep in mind! HTH and if you have any questions please feel free to FM me.

Re: Jericho Terrace, Crest Hollow, or Swan Club?
JERICHO TERRACE!!! I cannot wait for my wedding! We booked the Dome room for a Saturday evening in August. They are so helpful, we worked with Mike Clauss (sp?) He is alot of fun, has great ideas and extremely helpful. The Dome room is gorgeous!! I guess the Penthouse has the low ceiling? But the Dome room looks like a planitarium style ceiling and built in lighting that will be changed to any color scheme you want. (so you don't need to pay for a DJ to bring dance style lighting) We fell in love in about 5 seconds! We also went to Crest Hollow but it wasn't our style at all. It seemed older as far as the layouts and decor, just wasn't our style. I hear good things about the Swan club, but I believe the prices are higher.Good luck!!
