Kissing balls vs. bouquets

Are kissing balls more expensive? Can you have your bridesmaids all carry kissing balls? Opinions please?

Re: Kissing balls vs. bouquets

You can do whatever you want but from what I gather it is the FGs that carry the kissing balls instead of a basket of flowers. I prefer the b-qs for the BMs.

Re: Kissing balls vs. bouquets

Just considering mixing things up a bit. I won't have a flower girl and I thought the kissing balls were interesting.

Re: Kissing balls vs. bouquets

I think they're adorable - my 2 FG's carried kissing balls.

I think it would be different to have your BM's carry them - and a nice keepsake if you use flowers good for drying. That is, if they don't fall apart by the end of the night...that happened with my FG's...

Re: Kissing balls vs. bouquets

I've seen BMs carrying kissing balls. Personally I prefer the BoK but it's your wedding so you have the freedom to switch things up a bit!

Re: Kissing balls vs. bouquets

I just met with Lori from LA Blossom last night and I asked her about the kissing ball. She told me by the time we got to the reception it would be falling apart.

Re: Kissing balls vs. bouquets

I priced them for my FG's and they are much more expensive than bok's or baskets. I love them, put personally prefer them for the younger attendants.

Re: Kissing balls vs. bouquets

Okay, good to know. Thanks everyone. I guess between the higher price and the falling apart I will stick with bouquets! But I think I will have ribbons trail down from them. That'll be my slightly different thing!
