Re: stewart manor country club

We considered booking there after meeting w/ James but just ended up going a diff way. James was great; very friendly and we felt really comfortable w/ him. I don't remember exactly what the package was but it was a great package. The grounds are beautiful and there's a gazebo in front(?). The price they quoted us for Oct was 59 pp before taxes. I think the website is www.stewartmanorcountryclub.com.

Re: stewart manor country club

Xelindrya is getting married there in October, but she is away this week.

Try a search.
I hadn't heard of it untill after I booked, but it sounds like a reasonable priced, smaller location that is worth checking out.

Re: stewart manor country club

i am getting married there - the minimum is 100, maximum 220.

obviously the price per person varies depending on exactly when you get married, but for april we are paying under $70pp for a saturday night.

FM me if you have any more questions:)

Re: stewart manor country club

We had an outdoor ceremony there but an inside ceremony would take place in the ball room the fireplace is the head of the aisle. When we met with the catering manager, they showed us pictures and it looks beautiful.

Here are some pictures of the ball room all set up:

HEre's a picture of the cake they did - it was simple but pretty

Their prices are reasonable, the food is good, the service is OUTSTANDING! They are willing to work with you and arranged for tablecloth rentals for us at an very reasonable cost (I hate those plain polyesther ones).

Re: stewart manor country club

I just wanted to add that they say they can accomodate 220 but it would be very crowded. I would say about 180 max. We had 138 and we had plenty of room for dancing.

Their prices include:
Cocktail hour (5 chafing dishes, carving station, cheese/veggie/fruit display)

Salad/Appetizer
Choice of three entrees
Dessert
Wedding Cake
Centerpieces (which you can get a small credit for if you don't use)
selection of table linens.
Top shelf liquor

They take special requests for menu items (for step up charges) and we brought in a case DH's favorite beer they put on ice for us.

Tourist, I never heard of it either. DH found it in one of the reception location magazines. As soon as we booked 3 different people told us that they have been there and that they throw a great party.

Re: stewart manor country club

Our October reception was there and we LOVED IT!!!! James was great to work with. We paid $65pp for a Sunday nite. We didn't have our ceremony there, but we did see one when we signed the contract. White chairs were set up, center aisle, very pretty.

We had 220 ppl, and it didn't feel crowded at all. The food was amazing. They have an extensive menu. We used their centerpieces and cake since they were included.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Re: stewart manor country club

It seems I got on this post pretty late. Everything I wanted to say has been said. But I wanted to give you my initial impression of the place which led me to pick it.

My first look, I loved it. It has the exposed beams and old feel. In college I was a history buff, so I get a kick out of things that look historic. My FH thought it was really cool, converted history buff. The ball room is really big and I liked the fact that they included so many things into their package. I might however, choose to go with my own centerpieces though. I have to say though I need to go back soon to check out the grounds, because I went in Jan. and there was ice all over so I want to see it with all the flowers. And I also loved the fact that we had the whole place to ourselves. Weather permitting my ceremony will be outside. And I think it will be really pretty with the gazebo. I havent tried their food yet but will be making an appointment soon. And to top it off it wasn't $100 per person!!!

Hope this helps.
