Anyone belong to a Lucille Roberts?

If so what are your experiences? The only two gyms within walking distance from me (a must) are NYSC and Lucille Roberts

NYSC:
pros- good early/late hours, good class schedule, good/well-known reputation, slightly closer
cons- $$$$

LR:
pros- muuuuuch cheaper, women-only
cons(ish)- don't know as much about it, hours aren't as good (no early morning hours) class schedule is mediocre

Thoughts?

I used to go to LR years ago. Barely went. Didn't love the gym.

My sister goes there now and she seems to like it! It's pretty convenient.

I'm at NYSC. They offer discounts, maybe you or FH belong to something that offers some kind of discount? Maybe check online? That's how I got in! haha
I like it there, there are individual tv sets on the ellipticals, tread mills and step machines. It's clean and like you said, the hours are good.

I’ve been to Equinox and I don’t think they have anything on NYSC except the bigger space and maybe a few services. I honestly liked NYSC better.

I go to the one in Massapequa. I'm happy with it. I just go for the classes, and the classes work well with my schedule, so it works for me

you're talkin about the gyms at forest hills, right?!?!

i was at both.

imo. LR scuked balls big time!!
not sure if they upgraded any machines but at the time they were old as shiit. they had very little cardio machines upstairs and the classes were always packed

nysc was a little pricey but worth it. they had lots of machines and were all modern/up to date.
the classes were good too.

im a LR member- 11er crashing--- i go for the classes--- tuesday nights in forest hills the teacher is amazinggggggg- i just cant find parking so i dont go there anymore-- but i do her class in valley stream and in bayside
shes tough, shes worth it, her classes get back, eeryone loves her, and everyone looses weight, its an addiction i swear--- haha not sure why your going to the gym--- but id definately give tammy a shott
