Bridal suite of bayshore vs. village bridal

I haven't been to the Bridal Suite of Bayshore but I did go to Village Bridal a few weeks ago. I thought the consultants were very nice and helpful. They were very patient with me and my appointment was closer to two hours. They had a good amount of dresses for you to choose from and the prices were great.

The only thing I didn't like was the small fitting rooms. I had my mom with me in the room for help and it was way too tight.

I love village bridal! I got my dress there. They were a pleasure to do business with unlike my previous wedding salon! You are in good hands in village bridal.

Bridal suite of bayshore vs. village bridal

I got my dress at Village Bridal and I did love it there. They are a small boutique but everyone was very nice and patient. I tried on about 8 dresses there. I do agree that their fitting rooms are pretty small though.

Bridal suite of bayshore vs. village bridal

I got mine at bridal suite of bayshore. They are great and had a big selection to try on. I didn't see much of anything in the 500 range at all. If your going there expect to pay 1000 or more. My only suggestion is that for your Vail I would buy it somewhere else if you can. The veil I ordered was 250 and they took 25 off of that. I could have gotten a very similar veil at David's bridal or other places for less then half the price but I was in a rush that day so I wasn't thinking clearly.

Bridal suite of bayshore vs. village bridal

My sister had a great experience at Bridal Suite of Bayshore.
I didn't go there because I didn't want to travel 40 minutes for alterations.

Bridal suite of bayshore vs. village bridal

I went to both and while I had a great experience at both I'd say if you had to choose, I'd go to Village Bridal. It's where I found my dress. The consultants I had at both places were great and while the fitting room is a little small at Village Bridal I felt the dresses my consultant pulled there were a little better and I liked the mirrors and set up there a little better. You can't go wrong either way but if I had to choose I'd go with Village Bridal.

Bridal suite of bayshore vs. village bridal

I got my dress at Village Bridal, but I liked the people better at Bay Shore and will be getting my bridesmaids dresses there. They were both good, I just preferred Bay Shore and happened to find my gown another day at Village and loved it so I ordered it on the spot!

Re: Bridal suite of bayshore vs. village bridal

I went to both, back to back one on Friday and the other on Sunday. Village bridal i just didnt see that many of the kind of dress i was looking for. they had a decent selection..i felt bridal in bayshore had more granted it was a saturday mornign so it was a bit crowded and i was a little taken back and overwhelmed..funyn part is that the dress i tried on in village bridal bayshore could get for me at a better price..also i like the dedication label they put int he dress..(the dress that i did get village didnt tell me it even had a belt or i could customize certain things)..HTH

I might be a lil bias but I say bayshore Bridal only because of the customer service. When I went into the village bridal I walked in and about ten minutes went by till someone greeted me and asked me for help. I felt that was rude... i walked out after i skimmed through some dresses but it could have been that one day. I could tell you they lost a sale. I say try them both and see who helps you the most!

This happened to me there too. The girl was stuffing chinese food in her face and said 'oh i have to get up' then told me they had no dresses in my price range 1500 dollars LMAO, SO i went to bay shore. got my dress there and in time they were just as rude. Basically they are both good shops with good stuff just go to both and ignore the rudenes becuase they have slightly different dress selecdtions.

Bridal suite of bayshore vs. village bridal

I got my dress at Bridal Suite of Bayshore. I had a wonderful experience! The staff was super nice! I found a very unique dress that I had never seen before and it was perfect for me! I want to also suggest Renates in Lindenhurst. I got my girls dresses, Flower girl dress and tuxs from them. They are awesome!

my vote is village - and to address anjelagain's point - i bought my dress at village and spent only $300, so i know they have dresses there for less than 1500. perhaps that consultant didnt know what she was talking about!

also, I second scottsbride's opinion about renate's! they're also very very wonderful.

Bridal suite of bayshore vs. village bridal

I got my dress at village bridal, it was the 1st and only dress I tried on. I loved it as soon as she pulled it for me. And with the discount they offered it was only $800.

The only thing I did not like about them was that alterations were done during the week. I live upstate and had to take off work to make these appointments. But as long as you can get off work it's no big deal.

iPhone sorry. The bridal consultant was too busy eating Chinese food to help me and when I called to complain they said it was their top sales girl. Obviously she knew they had dresses in my range but was too busy eating lol?? Idk.
