demetrios brides

i havent been dress shopping yet, however i totally love almost every demetrios dress that i see so that is definitely where i am starting! i was wondering for those of you who have tried demetrios dresses or actually bought one, how much was it, what style etc. i am so new at this i have no idea what to expect as far as dress prices go!! thanks in advance ladies!!!!

I tried on a bunch of their dresses,all different styles. They are beautiful & reasonably priced. Macy's bridal has a large selection of their dresses. Good luck.

I bought mine @ Macys in Manhassat- they had a good selection and were very helpful.
My dress was 1200. plus I also mentioned the knot(they have a discount coupon for like 15 or 20% off).

I got mine at Macy's in Smithaven mall...It was about 1400....but I absolutly fell in love with the dress...it was everything I wanted and more

I got my Demetrios Gown at Macy's Bridal in the Smithhaven Mall, Smithtown. They have a beautiful selection, best of luck. Here is a pic of mine. - Just wanted to add...that if you say you are registered at Macy's, you get a 10% discount.

I found mine at Macys and it was over 1000, but went to burtons and got it for under 700!

I loved it!

I got my dress from Macys Bridal in Smithhaven Mall. It was originally like $1085 but we got it for about $800 and change. You definitely have to negotiate, because they're a little over priced. Here is what mine looks like:

I found mine at the Macys Bridal in Manhasset. They were helpful but I did not order it there I went to Flowerama in Elmont. The price was better. FM on it's way.

Mine was around $1100 at Macy's. It's a halter top ballgown. I love it!!! I have my second fitting this week so I may be able to take a picture (if someone can come with me).

beautiful dresses girls!!!! Everytime i see a dress in a magazine im like ohhh i love that, and its demetrios, its so funny!! thanks for the advice and stores too!!! how far in advance did you order your dresses?? i actually love one from his past collection, my wedding is in late 2005 but i always hear dresses take so long to come in??!!! thanks again ladies!

I went to Macy's in Manhasset last Sunday with my friend to find her a dress--they were having a Demitrios trunk sale!! We found her a gorgeous dress

and it was 15% OFF!!! YAY!!!

She tried on quite a few before THE ONE that ranged from $1200 to $1700. Good Luck!!

I found a Demetrios gown that I like and was going to get it until I decided to go shopping again and found something even nicer. But Macys had the gown for $ 1825 + tax. I called Pearls place.com and they gave me a price for the same gown for $1010 + 12 to ship and no tax so I was going to save about $1000 by ordering it on line. Just shop around Macy's is a rip off and they give everyone 15% off and they use a different excuse for everyone they told my sister it was b/c she registered there and then they told me it was because my sister bought her's their. They have great serivce and that is what you are paying off just shop around....

Mine started at $1900 got it down to $1700 then talked Macy's down farther.. to $1250.

Includes 30% off veil & headpiece that I didnt however use. After Alterations and tax it came to $1574 My budget for a dress? ($1500)

i got mine at the wedding ctr in baldwin after looking at macy's manhassset - they were so helpful at macy but i wound up getting my veil and dress for 1200 as opposed to the 1500 they wanted just for my dress! i say try macy's for styles but then shop around!

I found mine first at Macys in Smithhaven mall and the lady there said to go to Burtons and they will give you a better price (believe that) the dress was 1700 at Macys and 1350 at Burtons. I ordered it in October and still havent heard they said around June I should hear something from them. I liked Burtons because I also got 10 or 15% off the BM dresses when I ordered the gown from them and they have a really good alteration price too. I went back to Macys( Burtons sold the sample to a girl that didnt have time to order one) to look again at it a month ago and I almost cried I love it so much.

I feel the same way, Demetrios is awesome. My Demetrios dress was $1850 at Bridal Accent in East Hills (Glen Cove Road, right off Old Country) Not many have heard of it but the service there was better than any other store I went to. I love them. As for Demetrios dresses taking a long time I bought mine in January of 2004 for a September 04' wedding. They said it will be in one month before in August. I bought extra crinilon to make it really poufy (it looks like an A-line here, but it's really a ball gown).
